Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
- Apocalypse Dragon is a fighting game for teenagers and adults (13 and over), not for children.
- The game does not ask for your name, email or any other personal information, and there is no account or sign-in. Your game progress is saved only on your device.
- The ads come from Google AdMob: a full-screen ad every two levels, between one level and the next, and an optional video to continue after a game over. They are there in the two-phone mode too. AdMob may use the advertising ID and other information from your device, as Google explains in its own pages.
- In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google's consent form asks for your choices, and you can change them at any time with the “Privacy / ad consent” button.
- There is one optional in-app purchase, “No ads” (the Pro version), which removes all the ads. The payment is handled entirely by Google Play: we never see your payment details.
- In the two-phone mode the phones talk only to each other, on the local network: there are no servers of ours, nothing is sent to us and nothing is collected.
- There is no chat and there are no location, camera, microphone or contacts permissions.
1. Who we are
This policy covers the Android game Apocalypse Dragon (package name com.intreccidicarta.apocalypsedragon), published on Google Play by Intrecci di Carta, Switzerland ("we", "us"). If you have any question about this policy or about your data, write to pierpalmiro.stroppa@gmail.com.
2. Information the game handles itself
The game saves a few things so you can continue later: which levels are unlocked, your best scores (playing alone and in two), the game mode you chose last, whether the sound is on or off and whether the Pro version is active. In the two-phone mode it may also keep, for a short time, a note that lets it reopen the “Host a game” or “Join” screen if Android restarts the app while the phones are connecting. This information is stored only in the app's local storage on your device. It is never sent to us, and we cannot see it. The language of the game simply follows the language of your device.
You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the game or by clearing its data in your device settings (Settings > Apps > Apocalypse Dragon > Storage > Clear data). If Android backup is turned on in your device settings, Android may include this data in your device backup in your Google account, under Google's terms. We have no access to that backup.
The game itself does not collect analytics and does not use any other third-party services besides the advertising, the Google Play purchase and the Google Play services code scanner described below. Playing alone works without an internet connection; the internet permission is used for the ads and the consent form, for the purchase and for the two-phone mode on the local network.
The app uses only “normal” Android permissions, which Android grants at installation without asking: internet and network state, vibration, keeping the device awake, the advertising ID permission (used by Google AdMob, see below) and the Google Play billing permission. It has no permission for location, camera, microphone, contacts or nearby devices.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game is free and shows ads provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC; for users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited):
- every two levels cleared, a full-screen ad (interstitial) between one level and the next, before the story of the next level. Never during a fight: while the ad is on screen the game is paused;
- after a game over, an optional rewarded video, shown only if the player chooses “Watch a video and continue from here”: the heroes then come back where they lost, with 3 lives. The player can always choose “Restart the stage” instead, without any video;
- in the two-phone mode as well: every two levels each phone shows its own full-screen ad, and after a game over the phone that hosts the game can choose the video to continue together.
If an ad is not ready it is simply skipped, and if no video is available (for example with no internet connection) the game lets the player continue anyway.
When an ad is requested or shown, the Google Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects some information in order to deliver the ad, measure it and prevent fraud and abuse: the device's IP address (which may be used to estimate its general location), device identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and the app set ID, interactions with the ads and with the app (for example that a video was shown or tapped), and diagnostic and performance information. Depending on your choices and on where you live, Google may use this information to show personalized ads (based on your interests) or only non-personalized ads. This information is encrypted in transit and is processed by Google under its own policies, also on servers outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area (for example in the United States):
- Google Privacy Policy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
- How Google uses information for advertising
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or ask not to receive personalized ads, in your device settings (on most devices: Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads). Once the “No ads” purchase is active there are no ads at all: the app does not even start Google AdMob, so no information is sent to it.
4. In-app purchase (Google Play)
The game offers one optional purchase, the Pro version (the “No ads” button in the menu): a one-time purchase that removes all the ads and lets you “continue from here” after a game over without watching a video. In the two-phone mode it removes the ads on the phone where it is active; after a game over, it is enough that one of the two phones has it to continue together without a video.
The purchase and the payment are handled entirely by Google Play, under Google's terms and the Google Privacy Policy. We never see your name, email or payment details. The app only receives from Google Play whether the Pro version is purchased (and, if needed, confirms the purchase to Google Play). It asks again at every start, so after a reinstall the purchase comes back by itself and a refunded purchase is removed; the “Restore purchase” button does the same on request. The answer is saved on your device so the ads stay off. Your order history and any refunds are managed in your Google Play account.
5. Two-player mode with two phones
In the “2 players — two phones” mode two phones play together, each one with its own player, on the same Wi-Fi network or on one phone's hotspot (the hotspot button only opens the device settings). The phones talk only to each other, on the local network: the game data (the players' moves, the state of the game, the score and whether the other phone has the Pro version) is not sent over the internet, to us or to anyone else. There are no servers of ours and nothing is collected; the only thing kept is the best two-player score, saved on the hosting phone together with the other scores (section 2).
To join a game, the second phone reads a QR code shown by the first one, which contains only the address of the game on the local network; the address can also be typed by hand. The QR code is read by the Google Play services code scanner in its own window, on the device: the app has no camera permission and never sees the camera image.
The ads in this mode work as described in section 3: each phone requests its own ads from Google AdMob over the internet, unless the Pro version is active on it.
6. Users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland the app uses Google's User Messaging Platform. When the game starts, before any ad is requested, it asks Google whether your consent is needed and, if so, shows Google's consent form, where you can accept or refuse the use of your data for advertising, personalized ads included. Ads are loaded only if Google says they may be requested. If you refuse, Google may show only non-personalized or limited ads, which still use some information, for example to limit how often the same ad is shown and to prevent fraud.
You can change your choices at any time with the “Privacy / ad consent” button in the menu, on the screen where you choose the game mode: it opens Google's privacy options form again. Where there are no choices to make, the button says so.
7. Children
Apocalypse Dragon is a fighting game for teenagers and adults (target audience: 13 and over), and it is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or from anyone else, and the game does not ask anybody for personal information. If you are a parent or guardian and have a question, contact us at pierpalmiro.stroppa@gmail.com.
8. Your rights
We do not hold any personal data about you, so there is nothing we can access, correct or delete on our side. For the information processed by Google for advertising and for purchases, you can use the tools described in Google's privacy policy and in your Google Play account, the advertising ID settings of your device (section 3) and, in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the “Privacy / ad consent” button (section 6). You also have the right to contact the data protection authority of your country (in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner, FDPIC).
9. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page and update the date at the top.
Informativa sulla privacy
Ultimo aggiornamento: 22 ottobre 2026
- ogni due livelli superati, un annuncio a schermo intero (interstiziale) fra un livello e l'altro, prima della storia del livello dopo. Mai durante un combattimento: mentre l'annuncio è sullo schermo la partita è ferma;
- dopo il game over, un video a premio facoltativo, che compare solo se il giocatore sceglie «Guarda un video e continua da qui»: gli eroi rientrano allora nel punto dove hanno perso, con 3 vite. Il giocatore può sempre scegliere invece «Ricomincia il livello», senza nessun video;
8. I tuoi diritti
